The Adult Day Program at Bob’s Place provides a safe, comfortable, and professionally staffed space in Kawartha Lakes where participants can connect with peers, have fun, and enjoy carefully planned activities that encourage creativity, memory, movement, and social connection. Our small group format is led by two or more Bob’s Place caregivers, ensuring each participant receives the support they need to enjoy their day safely and fully.

A Day Program Designed To Deliver Enrichment And Connection
Our Adult Day Program is about more than fun and games—it’s designed to improve quality of life for adults of all ages and stages of wellness through meaningful social connection and carefully planned activities. Participants meet twice a week for four weeks and, with guidance from their group leaders, enjoy varied activities and shared meals and snacks that build community while engaging the body, mind, memory, and senses.
Each week follows a theme, from “Music and Movement” to “Seasons and Nature,” with daily activities drawn from at least three of our five core recreational pillars to provide variety, balance, and enrichment.
In addition to enriching activities, participants in the Bob’s Place Adult Day Program are placed into small groups of six to eight people and paired with two or more dedicated Bob’s Place caregiver staff. Being part of a consistent group allows for personal connection, support and celebration to happen naturally as participants get to know one another better week after week. At Bob’s Place, we believe that community and connection go hand in hand.
